Abe AI help
Who this is for
This is the help guide for Abe AI across its services, websites, software and supported channels. Use it to choose professional information, review what an application may access and manage your own notifications. A clinic may fund access; the person still chooses their permissions and alerts. Each guide explains its current prerequisites and whether the customer journey has been verified.
Start here
Start with Services and access to choose what you want from Abe and check its current availability. Abe provides the shared service; each application or channel has its own setup guide. Some connections and the full shared widget are still being prepared, so an integration guide does not mean that connection is ready.
Choose your role: Individual, Administrator, Owner or Developer. Each guide distinguishes instructions from features whose customer journey has not yet been verified.
| What you want to do | Guide |
|---|---|
| Try the free updates preview and copy its embed code | Try it free and copy the embed code |
| Subscribe to Abe Updates, or manage or cancel it | Subscribe to Abe Updates |
| Put the Abe Updates panel on your practice website | Connect the panel to your practice website |
| Try Abe's own application before integrating an outside app | Reference application steps and prerequisites |
| Connect your own account from another application's Abe feature | Connection steps and current readiness |
| Arrange an embed for your website or software | Shared widget setup and Developer guidance |
| Test owner-funded access without a payment | Owner guide and Funding without a purchase |
| Prepare Abe's subscription products and prices | Stripe product setup |
| Connect Stripe securely to Abe | Developer payment setup |
The subscriber does not need a Stripe merchant account. The Abe payment operator prepares it. The shared widget's ordinary subscriber connection and full paid journey remain unfinished; a working preview or this help guide cannot activate them.
For your first task, choose Services and access, Account contexts, Professional development, Evidence search, Governance and readiness or Funding reference. The existing professional-development finder is a useful starting point without an alert subscription.
For personal choices, use Alerts, Privacy and permissions, Billing, Manage and cancel and Source coverage. Read the separate prerequisites for MCP, Telegram and Notion before expecting a channel to work.
Read Understand evidence checks for the scope and limits of the locally implemented result statuses, including checks that are unavailable or held for review.
The following guides cover the existing contracts and prerequisites. Some integrations remain unavailable; the guides explain their limits rather than declaring them ready:
- API, n8n, Clinic and hospital, Vendor integrations.
- MedicalDirector Clinical, MedicalDirector Helix, Halaxy, Zedmed, Best Practice.
- Cliniko, Coreplus, Gentu, Genie, Oracle Health, Epic.
- TeleScribe, Website widget, Software API, NotRealSmart, EndorseMe, Downscale.
What success looks like
You can find the relevant screen, understand its source limits and recognise the result of your own choice. A search result, payment return and delivery receipt are different outcomes. A working engine does not establish permission to use it through every host or channel.
If it does not work
Use Troubleshooting for a supported next step. Tell support the screen, time and non-sensitive error text; never send keys, patient details or private interests.
Stop or change your choices
You can browse without subscribing. Follow Manage and cancel to distinguish pausing alerts, disconnecting an application and managing funding. Each requires its own choice.
